Age 1000

Two centuries after Goku walked away

The Earth you arrive on has had 216 years to forget what it survived. The fighters are legends, the Dragon Balls are scattered, and something has gone badly wrong with time itself.

A crack in time

Mira’s army tears an opening in history, and players are pulled through it. What arrives in Age 1000 is not entirely from Age 1000 — and the damage runs backwards as well as forwards.

The Time Patrol

Trunks and the Time Patrol Capsule are what stop that being the end of the story. Through them you travel to other periods to repair what has been altered — fixing the present by putting the past back.

The Dragon Balls, again

Two hundred years is long enough for the Dragon Balls to become rumour. Finding them is a genuine hunt across the world, not a quest marker.

Written by Toriyama

Akira Toriyama designed the characters and shaped the story himself. Age 1000, the Time Patrol, and the crack in time are his — which is why they later turned up in Xenoverse and Dragon Ball Heroes.

Three races

Pick a side of the bloodline. Each splits into two classes, and each class into two masteries.

Adaptable

Earthling

Descendants of the fighters who trained under Master Roshi and the Crane Hermit. They lack the raw ceiling of the other races and make up for it with versatility and technique.

Martial Artist
Fighter, Swordsman
Spiritualist
Crane Hermit, Turtle Hermit

Enduring

Namekian

The people of New Namek, living on Earth 216 years on. Regeneration and stubbornness in equal measure — they hold a line longer than anyone, and their healers keep everyone else standing.

Warrior
Dark Warrior, Shadow Knight
Dragon Clan
Dende Priest, Poko Priest

Unpredictable

Majin

Born of Majin Buu’s legacy and no longer anything to be afraid of — mostly. Half of them hit harder than seems reasonable for their size; the other half rewrite the rules of a fight while it is happening.

Mighty Majin
Ultimate Majin, Grand Chef Majin
Wonder Majin
Plasma Majin, Karma Majin

Undecided? The Skill Calculator lets you build any of them out to level 70 before you commit to a character.

One thing the original never finished

A third Earthling class — the Engineer, with Gun Mania and Mech Mania masteries — was announced and never shipped before the servers closed. It is still in the game data, unused. That is the kind of loose end this project exists to pick up.
